????????????????????

This season of 2020-2021 marks the sixth year for the High School Skating Team. The team is comprised of students from Chi-Hi and Cadott High Schools, known as Wissota Blades. Team members must also be a member of the Chippewa Figure Skating Club.

Competition Information:
High School figure skaters in Wisconsin now have the opportunity to represent their schools in team competitions. Each team may field any or all of A, B, C , and D level teams, which compete separately. The A teams have the most difficult elements, D teams have the least difficult. Teams can participate in the Wisconsin High School Competition Series. At the WI High School Series competitions, there are 3 events at each of the 4 levels - a Jumps event, a Spins event, and a Moves event. Each event has
3-4 required elements.  Elements are performed by a single skater from each team, in team rotation. Teams earn points for their placements in the 9 competition events based on the number of teams participating in each event. Individual awards are given to participating skaters finishing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in each of the events. Team awards are given to the top 3 teams at each level for the overall combined series placements at the end of the season.
